Last year, we took take part in the local Homeschool Expo, where we hosted our hands-on Veggie Print Art Station! Families stopped by to explore the colors and textures of nature through creative printing using real vegetables.
We loved meeting so many homeschooling families and sharing what Magnolia is all about: learning through nature, art, and mindful play.
We were honored to be featured on Soda City Live, where we shared the heart behind Magnolia The Nature Club and our mission to help families reconnect with nature through creativity, mindfulness, and hands-on learning.
During the segment, we discussed our community workshops, our holistic approach to outdoor education, and simple ways families can incorporate nature-inspired activities into their everyday lives.
It was such a joy to represent our growing community and highlight the importance of slowing down, exploring outdoors, and learning together.
Magnolia The Nature Club was proud to be part of Neurodiversity Among Us 2024, a wonderful community event celebrating inclusion, understanding, and creativity.
We hosted a vendor table filled with nature-inspired resources and offered a free hands-on activity for kids — creating their own Nature Picture Frames!
It was a joyful day of learning, laughter, and celebrating the beauty of every mind and every way of seeing the world.
We hosted a 7-session AkomaCares H.Y.P.E. Nature Club, guiding participants through a series of hands-on, nature-based learning experiences. Each session explored a unique topic, from gardening and herbal remedies to mindfulness, art, and outdoor exploration.
I was honored to be asked to lead the program, and I planned all lessons and served as the sole instructor, creating a curriculum designed to engage curiosity, foster creativity, and build a deeper connection to the natural world.
Magnolia The Nature Club was excited to be a vendor at the Fresh & Farm Fest at The Grow Farm!
We welcomed families with a free hands-on activity, where kids created their own nature bookmarks using pressed leaves, flowers, stickers, markers and other natural materials. It was a joy to see little ones get creative, explore textures from the outdoors, and leave with a keepsake they made themselves.
First Priority Garden Center's MOMMY & ME WORKSHOP
We instructed a fun and creative Mommy & Me Paint & Plant Workshop, hosted in partnership with First Priority Garden Center, who planned the event and provided the space. Families enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of creativity and gardening, complete with all the necessary materials. Participants brought their creativity and love for nature.
The workshop was a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to connect, explore, and create together in a hands-on, joyful environment.
