1. What ages are your workshops for?
Our workshops are designed for all ages, fostering intergenerational learning and creativity. While some of our sessions include age recommendations, every participant can learn from and inspire one another. Young children build confidence and problem-solving skills by teaching older participants, while older children and adults gain fresh perspectives and creativity from the youngest minds.
2. Do parents need to stay for the workshop?
Yes! Parents or guardians are welcome and encouraged to participate alongside their children, especially for younger participants. Some workshops are family-style, while others may offer independent activities for older kids.
3. What should we bring?
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for outdoor play
Water bottle and hat for sun protection
Any special items listed in the specific workshop description
All craft materials, tools, and supplies are provided by Magnolia.
4. Are snacks or meals provided?
Some workshops include healthy snacks or food-related activities, but in general, families should bring their own snacks if needed. Check the workshop description for details.
5. What if my child has allergies or special needs?
Please notify us before the workshop about any allergies, medical conditions, or accommodations your child may need. We do our best to create a safe, inclusive environment for everyone.
6. What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
Workshops are mostly outdoors. In case of inclement weather, Magnolia will notify participants via email with a reschedule date or cancellation. Refunds or credits may be offered depending on circumstances.
7. How do I register?
Click the “Register” button on the workshop page and complete the online form. You will be asked to acknowledge our safety and liability terms before completing registration.
8. Is there a refund policy?
All Magnolia workshops are carefully prepared with materials, planning, and attention to detail to ensure a meaningful experience for every participant. Because of this, we do not offer refunds once a session is booked. On a case-by-case basis, exceptions may be considered, but refunds cannot be guaranteed due to the cost of materials and preparation.
In the rare event that Magnolia needs to cancel a workshop, we will either provide a full refund or offer a credit toward a future session.
9. Can I take photos during the workshop?
Yes! We encourage families to capture memories and share them with loved ones. If you’d like to share on social media, please tag us on Facebook or Instagram so we can see your creations and celebrate your experience with the Magnolia community! Magnolia may also take photos for promotional purposes; a media consent option is included during registration.
10. Can I volunteer or help during a workshop?
Absolutely! We welcome parent volunteers and helpers. Please contact us in advance to coordinate your involvement.
11. Do you offer private or group workshops?
Yes, Magnolia can create custom workshops for schools, homeschool groups, birthday parties, or community organizations. Contact us to discuss your needs and availability.
